About Enliva Homecare. Our Story.

Why Enliva exists

Enliva was created to raise the standard of home care across the UK — starting with how people are treated, not how quickly tasks are done.

Too much care has become rushed, transactional, and impersonal. We believe it should feel human.

Our purpose is simple: to enable people to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes, for as long as possible.

Built from local care teams

Enliva is made up of established local care providers who already know their communities.

We haven’t replaced them. We’ve brought them together.

Each Enliva branch is locally run, locally staffed, and rooted in the area it serves — with the backing, support, and shared standards of a wider group.

No distant call centres. No faceless management. Just real people, nearby.

A new name. The same care.

For many families, the name may be different — but the people and care you rely on remain exactly the same.
  • You’ll still see familiar carers.
  • You’ll still work with the same local team.
  • Care plans, routines, and relationships stay exactly as they were.
  • Relationships stay intact

Continuity matters. We protect it.

The things that make care feel safe, familiar, and personal are kept deliberately consistent.
  • The carers who know you
  • The routines that matter to you
  • The relationships built over time
  • Care that moves at your pace, not ours

Quiet support behind the scenes.

Enliva adds structure and backing that helps local teams focus on delivering great care — without changing how that care feels day to day.
  • Shared standards across all locations
  • Stronger support and development for carers
  • Greater consistency and reliability
  • Clear clinical oversight where needed

Care should enable, not take over.

Our role is to support people to live life their way — stepping in only where help is genuinely needed.
  • Independence is always the goal
  • People stay in control of their routines
  • Support adapts as needs change
  • Care is built with people, not imposed on them
